When I first saw my therapist, I did not realize what a journey I was embarking on. With her love, nurturing, insight, and warmth, she allowed me to see the person I have always thought was inside of me. I remember our first meeting. I told her that my purpose for coming was because I was afraid that I would not ever be able to maintain a long-term committed relationship. Now, here I am, months later, embarking on what I hope is my forever relationship.
Thanks to my therapist for all she has done. I have enjoyed all of our meetings, even the ones where I cried! The embrace she gave at the beginning and end of each session was full of warmth and caring that I had craved my whole life.
